Happy Birthday to me

We are watching "Enchanted" and playing princess!

The girls both have runny/stuffy noses and I have a little sore throat,

but it hasn't been too bad of a birthday.

In case you are wondering, I'm 27 today. Officially into my "late twenties". I'm glad the sun is shinning today. We had to go to the library and also had to buy some vitamins and cold stuff.
I think this is probably the most unbirthday birthday that I've had. I wonder if that's what happens when you have more kids? We'll see what Youssef has planned though. I have a sneaking suspicion that he hasn't even bought a gift yet and will say how he needs to go to a store when he gets home (which I think at that point I'd rather have him forget about the gift and just hang out with us.) That's always depressing when I'm the last minute rush, but perhaps I should give him the benefit of the doubt. I bought some "Boboli" pizza for dinner (because it sounded so yummy) and I have lots of dessert type stuff (except that we are all sick so I'm going to save it). Lily wanted me to blow up some balloons that she found that my Mom gave her, and I already pretty much straightened up the house so it's somewhat festive. Lily is really enjoying "Enchanted" and Renna is laying on my lap just looking around quietly. The dryer is almost done and I need to fold clothes.

Youssef got me my own crown! It's much more flattering, don't you think?

This was just cute how she was wearing some of her princess things

and playing with her new cars!

Sorry I didn't answer your call yesterday...I was feeling really sick all morning and until about mid-afternoon. :-(
We should get together sometime soon though. :-)

  3. yeah, and I just left a message on your phone! Are you all right today? I thought maybe you'd like to hang out at my place and then your kids would be happy playing with Lily's toys and you could rest and not have to worry about feeding them and stuff. Also, we've been helped so much by people in our church what with dinners that they've brought over that we have a wide assortment of food to choose from that might sound appealing to you as well if you'd like to come. :) I figured that David and Noelle would probably be ok taking naps here? And Lily can nap in the back room so they wouldn't bother each other. And I have some neat paints and playdough stuff for Timothy to do. And we could all watch "Enchanted" (I think the kids would like it, too) after everyone wakes up.

    What do you think?

Lily's been wanting to go to the park a lot (I think she's getting cabin feaver) and having kids over would be really fun for her too.

  5. wow, that's really good. Too bad they didn't listen to Ron Paul sooner. Maybe Ron Paul will be president in four years? I wonder how bad our economy will be by then?
